Kraig as Growth Catalyst

Kraig Kramers' most frequent consulting assignments involve coaching CEOs and their teams on rapid, profitable growth of their companies and helping them with implementation. We call this growth catalyst consulting. Kraig's clients typically grow at several multiples of their industries' average growth rate. The methodology for this growth uses business tools Kraig has proven personally as CEO nearly a dozen times as well as with hundreds of other management teams.

Everyone has heard the expression "what gets measured gets done" (WGMGD). Kraig equips managers with the tools for bringing this maxim to life. It turns out there are three steps to WGMGD, namely: 1) Setting meaningful goals with your people, not for them, 2) Communicating continually about the goals and progress while building trust within the organization, and 3) Tracking or measuring the right things in the right increments (key indicators) and then redirecting the course with all the constituencies involved. Sometimes this last step simply means telling the story to customers in a way they give us more business.

Kraig's qualifications and experience are presented in other sections of this website. Many of his successes with the tools (and a few failures just to keep us humble) are related in his forthcoming book highlighted on the homepage under "About CEO Tools."

Kraig's growth consulting also takes the form of acquisition coaching and implementation when that is the advisable path. He brings a wealth of experience to bear, having negotiated over 70 transactions involving more than $2.5 billion in purchase value. Because he has also sold many businesses, Kraig also offers consulting counseling in this area as well.
