Very special weekend:  of course we should recognize all our military on this weekend and every day for that matter.  But also, thank their family members for their sacrifices…as a U.S. Army brat growing up all over the world, it was a real education for me to see what our military families both at home and abroad experienced.  Thank police and firefighters this weekend.  Thank everyone in the ranks of public service, plus their families.  And of course, think great thoughts of thanks for those in all these roles who have passed.  And…thank those folks at work on Tuesday who are related to all those mentioned here.  These all are the people who deserve a remembered and Memorable Memorial Day for keeping us as free as we are.
