Here’s a nifty idea someone mentioned last week — it’s called LIPI, line-items-per-invoice. Start tracking the number of line items on all your invoices each week or month, let everyone in your business know you’re measuring and managing this, and increase the total every time! You’ll be adding more sales to existing customers and adding new customers as well, just by focusing on LIPI. Track it on a Trailing-52-Week Chart or a Trailing-12-Month Chart (software at and click New Tools Catalog).
