Why These Tools Work for All Managers
CEO Tools are for all managers and are based on the author's own experiences as CEO of eight companies and manager in 16 others, ranging in size from just $1 million in sales annually to $250 million per year. Kraig used the tools to turn around Snapper, the number one brand of lawnmowers sold through servicing dealers in America, from a loss of $54 million to a profit of $13 million in one year. And just to show broad applicability, the same tools worked to grow Graphic Arts Center, a major printer from $60 million to $120 million in sales in four years. And a small company from $1.1 million to $2.4 million in a single year. Most of the CEO/manager tools were actually used in every one of the author's companies.
These tools have been tested and shown to be successful in hundreds of companies as a result of the author's frequent talks to CEOs and managers in North American businesses. Kraig Kramers has been on the business speaking circuit for over 20 years, and his talks on CEO Tools have been given over 500 times since 1995 to CEOs, managers, executives, and even entering MBA students at Tulane University and other institutions.
The tools were originally derived from the author's experiences as manager in over a dozen companies that employed him. Over the ensuing years, the author then had the chance to perfect the tools in eight companies as CEO and then again with countless consulting clients. He evolved and modified the tools to assure their applicability in a broad range of different business situations.
